Dr. Thibaut Vanneste
Dr. Vanneste obtained his medical degree at the Catholic University of Leuven and completed Anesthesiology residency at the University Hospital of Leuven. In the following years, he followed a fellowship in Chronic Pain, Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine in the hospital Oost-Limburg (ZOL), Genk. In 2017 he obtained the FIPP diploma and was awarded the Hassenbusch Prize for obtaining the highest score by the World Institute of Pain. In 2023, he also obtained the CIPS diploma. Currently, he is working as a staff member in the hospital Oost-Limburg, Genk, Belgium and at Maastricht University Medical Center (the Netherlands).
Furthermore, Dr. Thibaut Vanneste is active in teaching and research. He is working on a PhD thesis 'Radiofrequency treatment of the genicular nerves for chronic knee pain' at Maastricht University and has published several articles and book chapters on this topic.
