Dr. Ruben Haesendonck
Dr. Haesendonck is an emergency physician with a postgraduate degree in disaster management, tropical medicine, and public health.
Additional experience gained in trauma and disaster medicine through various missions abroad with organizations like Doctors Without Borders and B-FAST, including deployments in Haiti, Iraq, and Turkey.
Specific interests lie in traumatology, point-of-care ultrasound, toxicology, and disaster medicine, coupled with an overall didactic approach. Currently serving as the president of the Belgian Emergency Ultrasound Society, POCUS course director and ATLS instructor.
