Pain Therapy
The Multidisciplinary Pain Centre at Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg admits around 3,000 new patients annually, offering comprehensive assessments that include medical history reviews, diagnostic imaging, and electrodiagnostic studies. Our approach integrates physical, psychological, and multidisciplinary evaluations to tailor care to each patient’s needs.
Our dedicated paramedical team—including pain nurses, physiotherapists, and psychologists—provides continuous support for both diagnosis and treatment. We collaborate closely with departments such as Neurosurgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry and Palliative Care to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care.
Our multidisciplinary team consists of 11 algologists (anesthesiologists), 4 fellows, 3 physiatrists and 2 neurosurgeons supported by a strong specialized paramedical and administrative team. Together, we are committed to delivering integrated, compassionate care for complex pain conditions.
